I am trying to square away a new-to-me 91 240, and am disturbed by how loud it is. The sound seems to be coming from the fan--like the roar of a jet engine. At idle it is not bad, but give it a bit of gas and people turn to look. The exhaust system is tight--truly seems to be fan related. Any issues there that could cause this windy sound?
