Two-piece front rotor / hub -- disassemble for cleaning and new grease? 700 1990

1990 740 Turbo

I am just completing the installation of new struts, ball joints, bushings and and brake pads and would like to do preventative maintenance on the hub bearings.

Can the two-piece front hub / rotor be disassembled for cleaning and repacking of bearing grease? The hub nut is not outfitted with a castle nut or other positive lock-in-place device.

I am willing to take a chance on being able to reuse the existing seal and bearings, or find replacements at the local bearing shop.

Any recommendations on the torque or other tightening specifications on the hub nut ? (I have marked the hub nut to indicate its position.)

Thanks

curt
