brick newbie 'Duh' question(s) 900

i'm finally thinking I have to ask the "Duh" questiuons for I have yet to figure out a few things...

when My GF bough this really sweet stealthy Turbo940 wagon it came with a 3-ring binder of alot of the archived infor from here. Alas I didn't get the joy of figuring out that i can find images of specific items on the car...

for example I'm not sure where the OBD or OBD-II is physically located in this 1994 940 turbo wagon. And the printedoff FAQ stuff is a bit "chilton-y" with regard to location of the plug's as well.

So where is the computer and how is the code read able?

Reference point... I'm a rather stable ID in subaru old school circles and as such i have a significant learning curve to overcome with this turbo brick :) - I am not complaining at all just realizing that i'm at a "deadend" and need guidance please.

Subaru's have the OBD/ECM (engine control module) in one unit and one location (mainly) and have a single LED for blinking in two different patterns to signify the error code.Long and short flashes to signafy some 60 different plausible code depending on model and generation of car.

Do these babies have something similar or what?
is there a specific FAQ or archived thread with reasonable to "oh I am sooo gonna save that image" kind of pictures?

oh and the reason for such a post?

The "Serv-ice" light just came on and i figured that it should be easy to trouble shoot from the 3-ring binder..... alas..... you see where I am now?

IF anyone has some images for reference and would like to post links to the threads as well....most awesome...or lets start a thread and we can work out an email option for some "Bigger" images et al.
