I am looking for some sources for running boards that are, if not new, rust free. Any suggestions? This is for a two door 63 122. I need to redo everything back to the rear fender due to someones pervious patch job over existing rust that just postponed the problem until i could get my hands on it and discover everything entirely eaten out under the bondo and blistered paint. So it happens. Is this even the best way to go? It seems my only opyion at this point, to cut it out and weld in new steel to the outside while taking the oppertunity to clean and coat everything behind the outer running board shell with rust-converter paint.
Am i on the right track?
