I just wanted to post a thanks and appreciation for the FAQ about aligning the sunroof. I have a pointer to add. Sliding back the sunroof's headliner section made it easy for me to adjust the alignment. I wanted to know I could do it when I get to the headliner replacement, and the fact that I could only see one pair of philips screws - not in an adjustment arm.
I actually had #25 Torx screws in my sunroof - the FAQ says philips and not seeing philips made me apprehensive about the adjustment.
Also, with the sunroof panel slid back into the channel, I was able to adjust the lift with the sunroof closed instead of in the vent position. No adjust and guess made it a quick job. The actual sliding took me probably 10 minutes to master and it wasn't easy, but I was rushing.
How am I supposed to remove the sunroof headliner panel?
