Hi folks I hope some knowledgeable person out there can help me, I've had this problem for a while now and winter is here in NZ so its getting more urgent... I transplanted one 2 litre for a slightly fresher one of around the same year and since the new engine went in the choke circut hasn't worked. The cold start injector didn't work in the test recommended in the manual where you short the thermo time switch and remove the cold start injector. It does however work if provided with 12volts so the cold start injector isn't the problem. I've also substituted the thermo time switch. While I was messing with the thermo time switch I reversed the polarity of the plug and now the temp guage doesn't go either... damn
So if anyone has any suggestions about where I could look next I would be really geateful.
