93 940 Turbo: No power under load (Driving) 900 1993

Hi,

I have a wagon with about 132K. Engine idles fine and revs up fine while in park. As soon as you drive it can not get it above 25 to 30 MPH (Zero power); Acting like it not getting enough air even holding the pedal to the floor. Real slight black smoke out the back. R&Rd AMM (Used, check engine was on, corrected that problem)and the computer behind the passenger kick panel.

I'm open for ideas........possibly a bad AMM or converter ??? How do you check to see if they are bad ???
