I feel that 72 was the best year for the 140 series. I have too many projects and not enough space. We just bought an 04 Jetta TDi wagon and this has to go.

Megasquirt with an innovate wide band o2 sensor. Volvo people may notice the injectors are not in the head. This car was a carburated car and thus did not have injector holes in the head. I welded in injector pockets in the intake manefold and made a custom fuel rail for the accel 24lb injectors (little big) About the motor, .040 over, ballenced and shotpeand lower end, IPD torque performance cam with ISky lifters, pushrods and springs and retainers. I ported the head myself and had a 3 angle valve job done on the new hardend valve seats. IPD headder that is as old as the hills but is surviving well since it was jet hot coated when it was new.

Yea it's dirty, what do you want for a daily driver? Steel braded brake lines, IPD sway bars front and rear, Vintage performance progressive springs and KYB shocks. I think the KYB's are a little soft for these springs in the rear. I'll include a set of Koni Special D's that need to be rebuilt. Also this car has new upper a-arm bushings and new upper and lower balljoints. I also have new tierod ends that I'll include however the last time I looked it didn't need them.

In this pic you can see the newer exhaust, condition of the tires (yoko es100 205/60/15) and the vintage performance springs.
