Smoking 760 700

Hi. I have a 1990 Volvo 760. I am new to volvos so I need some advice. My volvo started smoking only when you let up on the gas. It started when I noticed it was burning alot of oil so I put in some 20/50 thinking this would help after this it started smoking(the smoke is blue). It may be just coincidence but it was fine before. I did an oil change but still smoking. The car runs fine just smokes now only when warm and when you let up on the gas. Any Ideas?
