So when I go to start my 91 240 it will not idle on its own. Not initially, at least. Once I get a few miles out of it things get better and it will hold and idle near 500RPM. This all started a couple months ago and as time has gone on the amount of time required for it to get control of itself has climbed. Originally things would work out after only a few minutes but now it's taking closer to 10-20 minutes of driving.
I cleaned the Throttle body in November(~5000 miles ago) when I installed an A-Cam. Last month the car passed emmisions with flying colors, so I don't think the O2 sensor is out on in, though I do occasionally get codes for the AMM (though no codes that will activate and keep the Check Engine light on). With gas expensive and with traffic bad here in Houston I need to get this fixed so I don't have to idle the poor girl using my foot.
Thoughts?
