Amazons with lots of rust found in Texas, need some advice. (or lots) 120-130

I am proud to say that I am the owner of two project cars. Serendipity and Craigslist helped me find a 63' four door and a 65' two door that had been sitting in a field for twenty years. After dragging them out with a tractor about 100 feet (only two wheels on the car) , and yanking the four door onto the back of the uhual trailer, I finally made it home where it is sitting on jack stands in the drive way.

The engine bay is all rusty, the headliner is rotted out, the rear hubs are rusted stuck so I can not even get the car to roll in neutral with the tires on. The exhuast is majorly rusted and needs a new manifold, fuel tank gone, master cylinder painfully rusted. The SU carbs look to be in alright shape (except for rusted filters) without much play in the throttle linkage, and the interior is pretty ugly to say the least. Fortunatly , all the glass is intact.

I have two b18's and 2 m40 tannys to work with. I plan I rebuilding the engines and the trannys and putting them into the coupe. The problem is that both cars are covered in surface rust and all of the pans are rotted out. I have called around to a few people trying to find new pans with out much luck. I think the only option is fabrication or finding pans of a similar size and working with them. I have a lot more issues besides the pans , but this is what I would like to get some advice on first.

I have a feeling IPD is going to be getting a significant portion of my paychecks for the near future, and I'm alright with that as long as I get this baby looking good. This has been my dream car all my life. Its a shame I could not find cars in better shape, but this is all I have to work with.

Where do I go from here?

Thanks!

Tyler
