The door handle plasic (rear driver's side) on my daughter's 89 740 sedan broke and I replaced the handle with a spare one from the same side but front door. Now,it won't open at all (even from inside). The window works fine,though.
How does one get to the inside of the door? I plan on removing the bolts holding the door onto the hinges and then wiggling the door to get it off the car. Is there a better way?
Then is there some adjustment to allow the plastic handle to move further and pull the lock up more? Where and how?
