After leaving my car in a parking garage for two weeks, it started up just fine, then started just fine the next morning twice. But now, the car won't start up.
Symptoms:
1. Turning the ignition switch on turns on the inside lights, chime, etc, as normal. I even hear the little rumble inside the hood as the fuel pumps prime up.
2. But turning the switch further to the right yields no sound or movement from the starter whatsoever.
3. Unlike a previous problem when the interior spindle in the ignition switch broke, when you turn the switch all the way to the right repeatedly, the inside lights, chimes, etc. do not cut off momentarily.
4. The same thing happens whether the transmission is in neutral or in park.
So, should I be looking at the starter, the solenoid, the relay, or something as small as a fuse?
