Stupid plastic timing belt cover!!! 700 1987

I'm changing the head gasket on my 740 as I write this so any quick reply would be much appreciated.

I haven't had a prblem with the job until now, I can't get the plastc timing belt cover off. I have taken out the screw that was in the top, the two 10mm bolts mid way down and the larger bolt at the bottom of the cover.

The cover seems loose, and I feel like if I jiggle it enough I can get it out, but at the same time I can see me breaking it if I try to 'jiggle' it anymore. I want to avoid taking the fan, pulleys and extra belts off if I can.

Other than that its all smooth sailing so far, intake, exhaust and rocker cover is off, just waiting for this stupid piece of plastic to come off before I can progress any further.

Matt
