I can't help but think every time I see one of those new versions of Volkswagon beatles that Volvo could very easily do something with the 240. Some may be thinking that the new wagons are in a sense a new version of the 240 but I would like to see somthing very similiar to the real thing. A new age of 240's that look like the 93 model and takes up where they left off. I mean think about how easy it would be to launch the line with all the spare parts already out there and a die hard fan base. But then again why would anyone pay over 15 grand for a car they can already buy for a thousand and get 200,000 plus miles out of it with the usual up keep. I guess maybe in another 20 years or so after California has crushed all the 240's in the name of smog.
