Aux fan switch help - push in vs screw in 900 1991

I think I need an auxialary fan switch (mounts on the upper corner of the radiator) with a different temp range. The new radiator has the push in version switch but when I look at the parts pages I only see different temp ranges for the screw in type of switch. Is there such a thing as a push in switch that kicks in at a lower temp? Is the hole actually threaded and the only thing holding the switch in is the rubber bushing?
