240 suspension 200

Hi all,
I got a 1993 240. great car but she rides like an Army jeep. I had new shocks and struts put in 3 1/2 years ago but the ride is as hard as ever. Handles great on sharp turns but hit a small divit and ..bang....
sure wish the car could ride like an American sedan.
Is there any chance of softening the ride in a brick? If so, please share the information.
