Stalls when throwing it in drive 200 1985

hey brickboarders been really helpful in the past... so here's another one for ya...

Problem: Wants to stall when I put it in drive. Doesn't matter whether it's been sitting around overnight or not. Idle while at stop light is suddenly rougher. Idle while in park, neutral, is just fine. No roughness while accelerating, driving. No extreme weather (cool green northwest).

Immediately prior to this I changed the oil, power steering fluid, and cleaned contacts for the ground between the valve cover and the firewall. In the last several weeks I've been adjusting the throttle linkage and kickdown cable (per Bentley and brickboard instructions) but I think I finally got it straight last week.

1985, 245 NA, ~210000 miles, dogmobile + future graduationmobile for daughter.

Any advice is appreciated of course.
