B230F cold start problem on hot days 200

Hi

My B230F has problems cold starting on hot days, i.e. when the temperature is above 25 degrees celcius (77 degrees farenheit) and especially above 30 degrees celcius (86 degrees farenheit). On colder days and during the winther it cold starts with no problems.

When cold starting on hot days, the engine bounces in under the hood causing the car to jump. Sometimes the engine dies if no pressure is applied constantly to the accelerator or if the gear is changed to "R" or "D". Moreover, when presseing the accelerator the engine sounds like a tractor and may hessitates to accelerate. Until the engine has reached operating temperature it may backfire during driving.

I have read the engine codes which are "1-1-1", i.e. no problems registered.

When the engine reaches operating temperature, the problems disapear and the engine runs and restarts with no problems.

any suggestions

malnitz
