Cleaning seat upholstery and trunk deck panels 900

I am cleaning up the '92 944 I purchased recently... Along with all the interior trim, I pulled the seats out and was considering taking the covers off to wash them.

However, since I'm in the process of rebuilding my 240's seats, I'm not looking for another seat project, and the 940 seats seem to be a bit more complicated to boot. So, I want to clean the upholstery in place if possible. I've seen some spray cans with built-in plastic brushes that look like they might work, but I'm hoping for a recommendation on what to use.

Also, the trunk deck panels (covered in a gray felt-like material) in the back are filthy. Anyone had experience cleaning those? I don't want to get them too wet because I'm afraid of the plywood warping.

Thanks,
