I have a 82 turbo 244 with Kjet that will just stop revving at 5G sometimes. The only other syptom I have noticed is a occasional miss under heavy load. Sometimes it will rev to red line in first and second, and other times it just stops at 5000rpm. It does not miss, it just stops revving and holds at about 5G. The boost stays at a rock steady 8psi. I have changed the main fuel pump, verified the intank pump, changed the fuel filter and the coil. I'm at a loss now and would appreciate any ideas. I'm thinking ignition control box as my next best guess. Thanks for any ideas.
