back up light wiring 200 1988

no back up lights. under the car, about 15" of double wire (black, grn/yell, I think!) was dangling from the top of the manual transmission, badly corroded. If I rig up a couple of new wires to the 2 prongs on the tranny, where do the wires go from there?
