Car burning oil + Compression Test Results 120-130

I did a compression test on my 64' 122 and the B18 was pushing 145 psi in each cylinder with very little varience from cylinder to cylinder. I know I need a new head gasket because I can visually see oil leaking inbetween the head and the block, but the engine is also burning oil.

I am pretty new to working on cars as this is my first project, but I have read that it could be burning oil from the rings or the valve guides.

So my two questions are:

1) is 145 PSI in each cylinder good enough, and at what point should I consider a rebuild. I do not know the history on the car at all.

2.) Possible sources of the burning oil. (valve guides, rings, ect.)

Thanks!
