hello all,
just had my indy volvo mechanic do some work on my 90 240. they changed the spark plugs and found 3 were worn, but normal. the one plug "housing" - the white part holding the electrode, had turned completely red. my mechanic suggested perhaps it was just a bad plug or wire connection.
does anyone know what else would cause this and what could/should be done about it? the car started hard before but runs great, and it seems to have improved since the change. the plug in question was from the third position.
thanks in advance,
g
