Ok I just had my whole igntion system worked over. The igntion syetem failure caused the car to misfire an preform porly. I just got it back from the volvo specialist, they said it had after market wires and distributer cap. Everthing was replaced with orignal volvo equipment. The car axxelrates smothly and drives better than ever there is just one problem. I was crusing down I 85 ( a mostly flat road) doing one of my usual trips to oxford NC to see one ofmy friends. I got the car up to about 80 mph and peole started blowing my doors of so I atempetd to speed up my it acted like I was trying to haul 2ton tessa. No more acceleration and even at wot it was a strugle to get it to go much faster. what could be the probel? Or is this normal behavior for the car??? I can get it to do 90 mph but that is going down hill and almost flooring it.
