240 Tach Install 200 1989

Hi, I tried using search but could not find the answer to this question. I bought an OEM 240 tach to put in place of the clock. Now the wire to connect it is easy enough to find but once I crimp/solder the wire to a spade terminal which terminal do I connect it to on the tach? There are four separate connections, 3 on the top and 1 on the bottom. I will post pics after a while if needed. If there is a write up of this I would like to see. Thanks.
