93 240 aouto matic

Problem 1. Occasional stall and rough running. Detect some knocking under moderate load, going up hill. Fault codes 2,2,1 &2,3,1. Checked the O2 sensor, seems okakay, no air leaks, cleaned flame arrestor. Still the same. Checked timing seems about 8 deg when idle.

Problem 2. Power steering is heavy, not assisting properly and somewhat intermittant when turning. Does this high or low speed. Belt tight and fluid level okay.

Problem 3 is not upshifting to OD, light stays on. I suspect the relay and will test next. Just thought I would throw this in.

Any help on the first two probelms would be appreciated.
