Radio cuts out on fm 900 1995

I have a 1995 945 with the "in-window" antenna. The radio model is cr-915. It cuts out on the fm and goes to static. It will operate for long periods or go out and in randomly. I have checked both the radio and antenna for bad solder joints and have reflowed any I believe could be involved.

Anyone have any experience with this? I believe the problem is in the radio since the am band does not seem to be involved.
