Replaced front wheel bearing, then shaking steering wheel 200 1988

Had the left inner front wheel bearing replaced by the mechanic at work who works on company cars. When driving it the first 20 minutes or so, when I turned a hard left (or turned steering wheel all the way left when not moving), the steering wheel shaked, kind of like there was a lobe on the power steering pump pulley. It went away when driving this weekend. Should I be concerned? What was this? TIA
