I'm working on figuring why my wife's 940 (regina system) has been taking considerably longer to start latelty. I was fiddling around with the FPR and noticed a few drops of gas come out of the vacuum side of the device. As I understand it, the FPR has a diaphram in it and if there is a tear in the diaphram, gas can enter the vacuum side. Should I replace it?? Would this cause hard starting?? The car has 170,000 miles. What about the fuel pump?? I havent checked the fuel pressure at the rail. I dont ahve the gauges for doing so. We inted to keep the car for a while, (I have a personal goal of 250k, would it be a waste of money to replace the fuel pump and FPR anyway.)
Thanks,
Matt
