So when I first start the car up in the morning, the car starts up rough & shakes, give it some gas and it idles out fine. When I come back after it has warmed up, it starts up fine. No CHECK ENGINE LIGHT comes on at all during this, but there is something going on, I can't figure out what the deal is, but this is what I have done:
-Checked and cleaned Fuel Injectors
-Checked Coolant Temp Sensor
-Checked for vacuum leaks
-Check fuel lines
-Checked o2 sensor
-Checked Idle Air Control
Unplugged AMM and tried to start it, it just blew out white smoke and won’t start, no matter what I tried. I then plugged the AMM back in and it started and the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT was on but car finally started with a whimpered and I gave it some gas and it idled out fine.
So what’s my next step, any other suggestions on what to check?
Also does anyone here have a spare AMM that they want to get rid of, that they want to sell and know that it works? (it’s the 1991 model, amm ends in 016) email me: spentbullets(at)gmail(dot)com I’m in NYC and junkyards are few and far in-between. Thanks and any suggestions are appreciated. -j
