Rough idle when radiator fan comes on 900 1995

My 1995 945 turbo idles smoothly untill the radiator fan comes on. The car shudders and then idles roughly like it is running on 3 1/2 cylinders.

I have just completed a major tuneup and the problem persists.

Anyone have a similar experience or any ideas as to what is causing this?
