760 fluctuating idle 700

My 87 760T has recently developed an issue with it's idle. It starts fine but will sometimes die after it revs up or once I put it in drive or reverse. It happens primarily when cold (not at full operating temp). Is it a sensor issue or something else? Any guidance would be appreciated. Cheers, ebrick
