Search problems? and brake pad question 900

Hi folks --
Is anybody else having trouble with the links that come up with the search feature (Trouble meaning seemingly random redirections)?

As part II of my recent brake work question, mechanic today suggested ceramic truck pads for my 965. Said fluids and vacuum boost were ok but that if I want more grab I should go with a different sort of pad. I know this is a topic that's been on here before, and I apologize for bringing it up again --see search issue-- but any recommendations as to pad type/brand? Any reason to trust/mistrust the mechanics rec?
