Well my 244 GLT sedan decided to start giving up on me.
Two months ago the car putted and almost died in the street.
I plugged the cold start injector in and the problem went away.
Now two months later today the car decided to do loss of power
no boost, engine sounds like a outboard boat under acceleration.
My ext fuel pump has been noisy lately I took it down and checked
everything to find the power wires frayed and contacting each other.
Also the hose to the fuel pump to the check valve had a large crack.
I replaced the hose and fixed the frayed harness and I still have the
loss of power when acceling. There is no coolant or oil issues either.
Im thinking that this might be a vacuume issue but I cant find it. The
plugs are two months old with less then 4k on them ( bosch plat reg )
Im really stummped on this one bricksters. Please help.
