headlights not working on 240 200 1987

Got it the car the other night to come home and had no headlights?

I was able to pull the bright lights switch and hold it in to get me by but couldn't get either brights or normal to stay on.

occassionally hit a bump or hole in the road that would make them come on and even stay on till the next bump.

where should I start looking for the short?
