overheating...blown headgasket....squeaking belt or something. 200 1992

My 92' has a blown head gasket as far as I can tell. (there is a oily film on top of the coolant in the resivior and it smells like gas/oil)

Well it started up and I HAD to get it the last 1/8 mile home so when I put it in reverse there is usually a pretty big "kick" when putting it into gear.(auto tranny) It didn't kick at all.

When I press the accelarator while in reverse there is very little response from the engine (very little increase in rpms) When in park or neutral it revs like a normal engine does.

I put it into drive again, no kick. I get very little response until it gets to around 10 mph then it starts to operate more normal.

Also all the time while the car is in gear there is a squealing noise. Is this the water pump bearing, some belts or something else?

I love you people at brickboard and the whole Volvo enthusiast community, you've been a huge money saver by me not having to tow it to the indy Volvo place for them to tell me whats wrong with my car. (even though it may go there to get repaired, I'm not sure if I can tackle the problems my car may have)
