91 940SE, SRS light question 900 1991

The SRS light on our 940SE Wagon came on about 5 months ago and I never resolved it. Couldn't figure out code retrieval as it's different from the 93+ (only one OBD box) and the fuse block is at the driver's door pillar in configuration that doesn't match the description in the FAQ. So, we just drove on and filed away a mental note to talk to the dealer when I got a chance. Time passes quickly and now we're looking to sell the car. Prospective buyer took it to a local mechanic (Rainbow Automotive just North of Belligham, WA) and they read the code and reset it. The light is staying off so far, Yahoo! BUT, by the time it got back to me, no one had thought to write down the code or remember it.

Question is this, could three days of having the battery disconnected while I did some work on the car have been what caused the SRS to light up? I'm working on a Camry right now that warns that certain models will throw the SRS if you do that and it requires resetting with a special tool (no further info in the Haynes, of course). Same scenario for the Volvo?

I'd like to know, and certainly would like to be able to tell the prospective buyer something reassuring and accurate about it.

Thanks!

Ben
