Most every morning after my 91 245 has sat all night, with no electric drain or shorts, it emits a whineing from the alternator and moan or whisle from maybe the computer. Everything works well and the battery, new in the spring, stays charged. Is this just an aging alternator letting me know it's on the job ... or does it need somehelp?
