Hello,

A weird thing happened on my way home tonight. I looked down and had no instrument lights what-so-ever. Actually, all of the lights on the center console (climate control, a/c controls, and the clock (small clock beside main instrument cluster) were still illuminated. My first thought was that the dimmer switch had gone bad (I have had that happen before years ago). However, when I removed the two leads on the dimmer switch and connected them together, nothing changed. I used this method before when checking to see if the problem was the dimmer switch and that made the lights come on. However, this time it had no effect.

I also checked all of the fuses in the fuse panel...all are fine. Any ideas? Maybe the headlight switch itself? I ran out of patience and light (my flashlight was dying). If anyone has an idea, please let me know so I might have an idea before I tear too much apart.
