recently i posted about the title above. i found after checking everything (ecu, icu, amm, idle control valve, wiring, fuses, fuel pump, vacum lines, connections, u name it) nothing appeared out of order. i decided to replace the fuel pump relay with a fresh one i keep in the glove box and the stalling has now completely disappeared.
presuming this was the actual problem i have taken the offending relay apart (out of its case) to see if it has obvious flaws.
the relay looks perfect.
does anyone know a specific method of testing these relays?
what are the specs i should expect to find on it and any methods are appreciated.
clearly this is an academic excersise. nevertheless i would like to understand why this might have been failing for the future.
