This weekend I got around to changing my battery and found the 25 amp fuse. I knew it was around the battery area but never really looked hard for it. I've always thought it was maybe inside that black plastic thing clipped against the driverside fender. Anyhow, much to my surpise it was at the bottom of the battery try all that time, between battery and the inner wheel well "curve." It seems so exposed, and the white holder it's plugged into has two red wires, one connects to the positive terminal and the other one leads back into the engine. Where does it go?
It looks like the fuse holder at one time connected or clipped on to something. Where? Is there enough slack on the red wire (leading back to the engine) to safely pull the fuse up toward the hood for easy access without risk of pulling one of the red wire out of its place? I'm a bit cautious about disconnecting or dislocating a wire by pulling on it too hard. It seems like one of the red wires is keeping the fuse holder at a certain point, and I'm afraid to tug at the holder to pull it up toward the fender. I'm trying to make a makeshift cover for it since it's so close to the battery, even more so when it is relocated near the hood.
