intermittent no-start problem no CEL w/ key-on position 200 1991

Let me start off by saying I'm a fan of these cars simply because this one has already outlasted all others combined! but with 550k miles on her she's just a complete dog. It's critical that my car start, I'm a pizza delivery driver and I had to leave it r unning all night to be sure It would run

the problem with the no start is probably up to an hour after it's been driven, I turn the key, and get all dummy lights except the CEL light... so I know when it is/isn't going to start.

so I play with a few random things, check the fuses, swap and re-swap fuel pump relays, play with ignition, then I turn the key and CEL lights up and she starts right up

it's not nessecarily every day that the car does this, its pretty random/infrequent

any suggestions?
