I was told my IPD that the best oil products for older Volvo's is Castrol. I understand that the rear axle takes 80-90w gear oil. Does the manual transmission without OD take the same viscosity as the rear end? Also, does it matter if the gear oil is Hypoid or Non-Hypoid? Any help on this would be appreciated!
