Sway bay links (i fought the law and the law won) S90-V90

Well I tried. I bought ScanTech links for my V90 after I found out Volvo links were 6x the price. $77 bucks for one stinkin' link. Aside from the fact that there is no excuse for a suspension part not lasting as long as the OEM tires, this was a bit too much of a spread for me not to try aftermarket.

I actually think the links are OK but the nuts provided are garbage. Driver's side loosened up almost immediately. I checked and the threads had pulled out on the nut but the stud was in perfect condition. Probably counterfeit fasteners that clearly were not heat treated properly. i rooted around in the trash and found 2 of the OEM nuts and have had no problems on that side since. I have had to retighten the passenger side 2 times and found these nuts were junk too, but again the studs were fine and the ball socket seems OK too. This time I replaced the link with OEM and will save the ScamTech link to use with the Factory nuts the next time it sounds like the front suspension is falling off.
