Hello,
I've just began to notice a peculiar problem on several '92 240s I have seen within the last few months. My best friend's mother has a '92 which she's had since it was new; even though it only has 119k miles on it, the paint is peeling badly in several areas, most notably on the trunk and roof (it resides in New Hampshire). It's metallic silver, by the way. And down here in DC, I saw another '92 240 that was the exact same color as my friend's mom's car, and it was also peeling paint on the trunk and roof as well. This particular 240 I saw had Florida plates, so I think this is a phenomenon that afflicts some '92s.
But one question- did '92 240s have any problems with their paint or overall build quality in general?
