Transmission Not consisitently shifting into 4th 900

I have a 93 945 turbo with 210K, auto transmission, recently it has started not to shift into 4th right away. On the highway it will get to 4K rpm's for awhile than it will go into 4th. I have had the car for 100k have done nothing in regards to transmission maintenance. Where should I start? Thanks.
