Power seats & seat heaters retrofit questions 900 1994

Hi,

First of all, If anyone has a scan of the 940 and/or 740 wiring diagrams showing the wiring for the seat heaters & power seats etc, could you please e-mail it/them to me ? My e-mail addy is rojSPAM_OUT @ telus.net <--- Remove the SPAM_OUT part and the spaces to e-mail me. - Thanks !

I've pulled the driver's side power seat and the seat heaters from an '86 or '87 740 Turbo and am attempting to retrofit my '94 940 with said equipment.

As it turns out the seat heater/power seat wiring harness connector from the 740 doesn't match up with what's in my 940 so I'm in the process of adapting one harness to the other. This is where I've run into some problems. First of all I found an unused connector over behind the driver's side kick panel part of the center console. It's a 4 conductor plug with only three wires going to it. One is thick white with black stripe the others are smaller gauge wires with one being blue and white and the other being yellow. Does anyone know what that connector is for and what each of the wires inside it are for ?

Also, most of the wires on my 740 seat heater/power seat/seat belt detector harness match up to similarly colored wires on the 940 harness. The only exception is a lighter gauge light blue with bright green striped wire on the 740 harness. There doesn't seem to be a wire of that color in the 940 harness so I don't know what I'm supposed to match it up with when I adapt the two harnesses to each other. Anyone have any idea what that wire is for and what color wire on the 940 that would correspond to ?

Thanks,

Roj
