Identify this relay 200 1991

My son has a '91 240 and thre's a relay under the left side of the dash that I can't figure out what it is. It's cylindrical, silver in color, has a 12 gauge red wire to it, a couple of other wires, and it is hot all the time. Doesn't matter if the ignition is on or off, it is very warm. Sorry in advance for asking a dumb question, but does anyone know what this relay is?
