first question, has any one had an occaision to purchase and use a new aftermarket mass air meter? 2nd are you happy with its performance?


ivew spent enough at junk yards to have purchased a new after market version, 2 of them cause them to run so rich it gags you when you pull into garage not to mention 14mpg. the one im using makes the engine hard to start, like i have to start it 3,4,somtimes five times befor it stays running,,,, none of them seem to adjust, as it seems they have been previously diddled with to the point they dont adjust any more.

i know there will probably be some die hards that will say go ahead and buy the bosch. i just cant afford one that expensive.
